Just a little bio, to give you abit of info on me, my background and what I'm into.

The media I use ranges from the handcrafted such as collage, brush and ink and pencils to the use of IT such as photoshop and illustrator. Although I am still learning and experimnting when it comes to IT.

I really like the idea of guerrilla art, which I supose you guessed by the Squidgy and Friends project. I just enjoy things like that, that sense of intrigue. I have a habit of doing little experiments aswell, as it's always good fun to see what happens. Leaving little books for people to write in then collecting them, and posting postcards with little messages on, which I never see again but I hope get passed on to various people.

Mark making as shading is something I enjoy hugely (it also looks quite cool). I mean in terms of shapes and scribbles rather then smooth colour application. There are no examples of this on the website, but I will add some soon.

Moving away from the art for a moment, I was born in Cheltenham in 1986 and also studied Illustration in Cheltenham at the University of Gloucestershire.  I would say I am from an "unconventional" family but in the most amazing way. There is a lot of us, we welcome many different people into our family and have great fun in doing so.

As I have said I love doing art just for the the sake of doing art. I love the freedom and expression it can give people and you don't have to be amazing at it to enjoy it. This is one of the reason why I hope to be an art teacher, maybe that way I can help others enjoy art too.
